Quickstart
Make your first successful call to the XS2Event API in three steps.
1. Get an API key
Send your XS2Event account manager an email and you will get an API key shortly. See Authentication & access for details.
2. Make a call
Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key and run this in a terminal. It lists the sports we offer, on the test environment:
bash
curl -H "X-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY" -H "Accept: application/json" "https://testapi.xs2event.com/v1/sports"A 200 response with a list of sports means you are connected. A 401 means the key is missing or invalid.
Production
Use https://api.xs2event.com/v1 instead of https://testapi.xs2event.com/v1 when you are ready to go live. Your key and the test environment are described in Authentication & access.
3. Fetch your first events
Add a date filter and a sport to get upcoming events:
bash
curl -H "X-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY" "https://testapi.xs2event.com/v1/events?sport_type=soccer&date_stop={{DOC_DATE_FILTER_GE}}"Next steps
